Peru has a lot of tourist destinations but in this blog we are going to give information that you need if you want to make tourism in Arequipa.

Arequipa is also known as the White City, and it's so important because is the second most populous in Peru and it’s a potential tourist destination of Peru.

 

Arequipa is located in southwestern Peru, facing the Pacific Ocean with 528 kilometers of coastline. Because that location is the commercial center of the southern region, which includes the departments of Apurimac, Cusco, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno and Tacna, and is part of the tourist corridor of southern Peru, which means that is interconnected with 40% of the country, and perched on a slope or hill in the Andes. Bordered on the northeast by Ica and Ayacucho, in the north, with Apurimac and Cusco, on the east, with Moquegua and Puno, in the southwest, with the Pacific Ocean.

 

Acces: 

If you want to travel by bus, from Lima to Arequipa, it will take 14 hours. By airplane form Lima to Arequipa its only 1 hour, but you have to consider that there're many daily flights at different times.
